I have to give a 3 minute speech on any topic related to business what are some interesting ideas to talk about?

Knowledge is PowerThree minutes on any topic won’t allow you to go into any great depth.

Your question doesn’t provide who your audience will be or what the purpose of your speech is.

Some good topics have been offered. I wouldn’t mind hearing a presentation on any of the topics. Three minutes would barely scratch the surface though.

Every speech should have a purpose i.e. to entertain, to inform, to motivate etc.

A topic that might be interesting and could fit into your three-minute time-frame, is to encourage and motivate people to develop their business skills and become more entrepreneurial. Small business is the backbone of the Canadian and American economies.

Secondary & post-secondary schools seem to be promoting the idea that you have to get a University degree to be successful in life i.e. white collar over blue collar.

There is a belief that having more ‘more pokers in the fire’ will increase your success in life. Far too many people go through life with only having one job. What happens if the carpet is pulled out from under them?

We also have to think ‘portfolio’. Being a ‘jack-of-all trades’ can provide many opportunities in life and can help prepare us for a sudden loss of our job.

So, to sum up, my suggestion would be to create a motivational speech that encourages your audience to pursue their interests in life and open the possibilities.

Thanks for your question. Good luck with your speech!
